NAVTEX means Navigational Telex is an integral part of WWNWS(World-wide Navigational Warning System). Ships equipped with NAVTEX receiver can receive the NAVTEX information from seashore stations: it not only includes the ID of seashore stations, but also includes navigationl warning, meteorological warning, SAR and other warning information related to maritime navigation safety.
NAVTEX Receiver NT-7001 is a GMDSS equipment meeting IMO requirements. It can receive 4 frequencies simultaneously, including international 518khz and 486khz/490khz /4209.5khz domestic transmissions.
